The Jury Chechi Academy calisthenics workshop in the Paganella Dolomites
The JCA Evolution Camp is an intensive calisthenics workshop created by the Jury Chechi Academy and hosted in Fai della Paganella, a charming mountain village in the Province of Trento, nestled in the heart of the Paganella Dolomites. The initiative stems from the long-standing collaboration between Juri Chechi, the legendary Olympic gymnastics champion known as "the Lord of the Rings," and the Dolomiti Paganella tourist destination, which has hosted the Academy's sports camps for years.
The camp takes place over three days at the Fai della Paganella Sports Hall and offers a structured, personalized approach to training based on the method developed by Juri Chechi. The sessions cover all the fundamental aspects of modern calisthenics, with a focus on:
The workshop is designed to guide every participant on a path of real improvement, combining physical training with personal development.
One of the distinctive features of the JCA Evolution Camp is its inclusivity: the event is open to all calisthenics enthusiasts, from beginners to advanced athletes. The Academy's official coaches adapt the training to each individual's abilities, ensuring that everyone can benefit regardless of their starting point.
The camp is part of the rich summer calendar of the Dolomiti Paganella destination, which hosts a variety of events throughout the season, including cycling, trail running, off-road triathlon, and artistic gymnastics, such as the Paganella Gym Camp dedicated to young athletes. The backdrop of the Dolomites, with its peaks, alpine lakes, and fresh mountain air, makes the training experience truly unique and complete.
In 2026, the JCA Evolution Camp returned to Fai della Paganella from June 26 to 28, moving the event to the beginning of the summer. The camp was part of the Visit Paganella summer program dedicated to 360-degree sports, including cycling, trail running, off-road triathlon, and gymnastics.
As per tradition, the three days at the Fai della Paganella Sports Hall offered a structured and personalized path, including individual ability analysis, technical feedback from Jury Chechi Academy coaches, work on skills and progressions, and sessions dedicated to recovery and injury prevention.
Typical workshop program (three days):
Each session is led by Jury Chechi Academy coaches, focusing on technique, strength, mobility, skills, progressions, and injury prevention.
