About Campomarino Youth Tournament

At the end of May, Campomarino, on the Adriatic coast in the province of Campobasso, transforms into the capital of youth football. The historic International Tournament City of Campomarino attracts over 400 young footballers and dozens of Italian and foreign teams each year – with a large English delegation – to the Santa Cristina stadium. A week of matches, but also of holidays, cultural exchanges, guided tours, and days at the sea: the spirit is to combine sport with the pleasure of discovering Molise.

A week of football and celebration on the Molise coast

The International Youth Football Tournament City of Campomarino is one of the most established sporting events on the Molise coastline. Organized by the Scuola Calcio S.S. Adriatica Campomarino and hosted at the Santa Cristina stadium, the tournament brings hundreds of young athletes and their families to Campomarino, in the province of Campobasso, every year.

Impressive Numbers

The 2026 edition is the XXII: over 400 young footballers and about thirty Italian and foreign teams compete for trophies in various youth categories. International participation is one of the event's distinctive features, with a large English delegation that has chosen Campomarino for years, accompanied by hundreds of family members and accompanying tourists.

Memorials and Categories

The tournament covers all youth categories – from 'Primi Calci' (first kicks) to 'Pulcini' (chicks), from 'Esordienti' (beginners) to 'Giovanissimi' (juniors) – and includes two important commemorative moments: the Costantino Mangifesta Memorial and the Luigi Mandelli Memorial, dedicated to the club's historic founding president. Matches are often observed by coaches and directors of professional clubs, offering the young players a valuable showcase.

More Than Just Sport

Alongside the matches, the week offers a rich collateral program: cultural visits to Campomarino and nearby Termoli, wine tastings among the coastal vineyards, and days at the beach on the Molise shores. A formula that combines sport, holidays, and hospitality, and which has earned the club recognition from the FIGC for its long-standing commitment to youth development.
