International Street Food in Scicli
International Street Food is the major traveling street food festival that visits Scicli—a late Baroque jewel in the province of Ragusa and a UNESCO World Heritage site—every year. The event brings Piazza Italia (Piazza Busacca) in the historic center to life, transforming it into an open-air gastronomic village where flavors from around the world come together.
A journey through global flavors
The Il Salotto del Gusto format brings dozens of specialized mobile kitchens and food trucks to the square. Visitors can sample both Italian and international street food, with specialties ranging from regional recipes to the most beloved foreign dishes. There is also a wide selection of craft beers from domestic and international micro-breweries, traditional Italian and global desserts, and gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions.

A national circuit in the heart of Sicily
International Street Food is organized by Il Salotto del Gusto, a group that brings its tour to numerous Italian squares from March to November. Its presence in Scicli, in the south-east of Sicily, confirms the tourist and gastronomic appeal of the Ragusa area, already famous for its food and wine excellence and landscapes made iconic by popular TV series. The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been officially announced; the event traditionally returns in July.
