Sicilian in Jazz, jazz in the heart of the Val di Noto
Sicilian in Jazz - Jazz & Wine Experience is one of the most original musical events in south-eastern Sicily. Founded in 2016, the festival takes place every summer in the Noto area, in the heart of the Province of Syracuse, and in other municipalities of the Syracuse and Ragusa regions, transforming wineries, estates, agriturismi, and baroque palaces into natural stages for great jazz music.
The formula: tasting and concert
The festival offers a formula that blends the food and wine excellence of the Val di Noto with live music. Each evening includes a food & wine tasting of local wines and typical products, followed by a concert immersed in nature, often at sunset, wrapped in the splendid atmosphere offered by the locations hosting the event. The stops wind through historic wineries and estates of south-eastern Sicily: venues such as Feudo Maccari, Cantina Ramaddini in Marzamemi, I Carusi Bio Relais, Masseria della Volpe, and many others.
Artistic direction and organization
The festival is organized by the N.O.E. - Network Of Experience association under the artistic direction of Maestro Giuseppe Mandalari. The project was born with the aim of rediscovering the centrality of the Sicilian jazz tradition and promoting jazz as a school of diversity, dialogue, and tolerance, in harmony with the landscape and architectural beauty of the territory.
A journey through the territory
Sicilian in Jazz is an itinerant event that involves some of the most evocative places in the south-east of the island: from relais nestled in the Noto countryside with views of the Vendicari Reserve, to seaside villages like Marzamemi, to the courtyards of baroque palaces and the staircases of churches in the historic center of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The audience thus enjoys a complete experience, made of music, wine, cuisine, and landscape.

Sicilian in Jazz 2026 - 10th edition
The tenth edition of Sicilian in Jazz - Jazz & Wine Experience takes place from June 22 to September 12, 2026, confirming the itinerant formula that combines tastings and concerts among the wineries and estates of the Noto and Syracuse areas. About fifteen appointments are scheduled throughout the summer.
Among the announced evenings, the concert on June 27 at I Carusi Bio Relais, in the Noto countryside with a view of the Vendicari Reserve: a sunset followed by a dinner signed by chef Maurizio Urso and accompanied by the notes of the Crooner & Swing Quintet. The festival, organized by N.O.E. - Network Of Experience under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Mandalari, confirms its identity as a complete experience of music, wine, and landscape in the heart of the Val di Noto.

How to get there
The concerts take place in various wineries, estates, and agriturismi in the Noto and Syracuse area. Noto can be reached by car via the SS115; the reference railway stations are Noto and Syracuse, while the nearest airport is Catania-Fontanarossa, about an hour and a half away by road.
