A day of well-being, art, and music at 432 Hz on the banks of the Po River
Indaco is the Festival of Well-being in Luzzara, a small municipality in the Bassa Reggiana region overlooking the Po River, in the province of Reggio Emilia. Born from the activities of the Cultural Association Collettivo Indaco, the festival has established itself over the years as one of the most original events in Emilia-Romagna dedicated to harmony between body, mind, and environment. The setting is the evocative Lido Po, among the trees and the water of the great river, where practices, sounds, and meetings take place throughout the day.
The distinctive feature of the festival is the music tuned to 432 Hz, a frequency that organizers and many musicians consider more harmonious and relaxing, often used in well-being and meditation contexts. Sunrise concerts, sound baths, and evening DJ sets are all tuned to this frequency, creating a sonic thread that runs through the entire day, from early morning until night.
The program intertwines numerous well-being disciplines: yoga sessions in its many forms, acroyoga, forest bathing, reiki, shiatsu treatments, and massages offered by holistic practitioners. Alongside these are conferences and meetings with researchers and experts on topics such as mindful eating, herbs, aromatic plants, and self-sufficiency. For visitors, there is also a quality handmade market, photographic exhibitions, and refreshment areas offering traditional, vegan, and vegetarian options.
At sunset, on the banks of the Po, Indian ethnic dances, purification ceremonies, and dance aperitifs take center stage again, before the evening DJ set that concludes the festival. Indaco is not just a gathering of practices: it is an immersive experience designed as "a moment and a place for meeting and growing together," which simultaneously values the territory of the Bassa Reggiana and the relationship with the Po river landscape.
The event is designed for a wide audience, from families with children to enthusiasts of holistic disciplines, to those simply looking for a different day outdoors. Admission is free, and most activities operate on a voluntary, conscious donation basis, while some workshops require registration due to limited spots.
The 2026 edition of the Indaco Well-being Festival revolved around the theme "Nourishing Ourselves with Light", explored in its many aspects—from mindful eating to spiritual nourishment. On the banks of the Po, among the trees of Lido di Luzzara, practices of yoga, holistic sessions, conferences, dances, and music tuned to the 432 Hz frequency took place throughout the day.
The day began at dawn with a 432 Hz concert and concluded in the evening with dinner and a DJ set by the river, in a journey that combined well-being, art, and the promotion of the Bassa Reggiana territory.
