For three consecutive evenings, the historic center, and Piazza Dante in particular, transform into a large open-air meeting point where culinary tradition, music, and conviviality blend into the authentic spirit of Tuscan village festivals.

Upper Maremma cuisine

The beating heart of the festival is the food stand managed by the Pro Loco of Campagnatico, where numerous volunteers hand-prepare typical dishes from the Upper Maremma. The menu features specialties that tell the story of the land and its rustic cuisine:

• Strozzapreti, the hand-rolled fresh pasta that is a symbol of Maremma tradition
• Tortelli maremmani, filled with ricotta and spinach and served with sauce
• Lumache al sugo (snails in sauce), a classic of local festivals
