About Concertozzo

Il Concertozzo is the annual event created by Elio e le Storie Tese together with the Trio Medusa, a gathering that blends live music, comedy, and solidarity. In 2026, the festival arrives in Biella, in the heart of Piedmont, for two days of free concerts, talks, and initiatives dedicated to autism and social inclusion. It is a popular festival where entertainment meets civic engagement, and where food and beverage services are managed by associations working with disabilities.

Il Concertozzo: Music and Solidarity in Biella

Il Concertozzo is the annual event created by Elio e le Storie Tese alongside the Trio Medusa, a festival that has made the fusion of entertainment and social commitment its hallmark. Launched in 2019, Il Concertozzo is a touring event that chooses a different city each year: in 2026, it lands for the first time in Biella, the capital of the homonymous Piedmontese province, transforming the historic town squares into a massive open-air stage.

When and Where

The 2026 edition takes place on Friday, June 26th, and Saturday, June 27th, spread across several symbolic locations in the city: Piazza Duomo hosts the associations, stands, and Friday talks; Palazzo Ferrero in Biella Alta welcomes the late-night jam session, while the grand musical evening on Saturday brings the city center to life with the Concertozzino and the main concert.

The Program

Friday opens in the afternoon with street food and association exhibition spaces, continues with two talks dedicated to disability, rights, and social isolation, and culminates in the evening with a classical music concert performed by the Symphonic Taxi Orchestra and a live jam session at Palazzo Ferrero. Saturday is the main event: in the afternoon, the Concertozzino showcases various musical projects, while in the evening, the main Concertozzo takes the stage with Elio e le Storie Tese and numerous musical and comedic guests.

A Festival with a Purpose

What makes Il Concertozzo unique is its soul of solidarity. The event is the first of its kind where food and beverage management is entrusted to associations supporting physical disabilities and autism. Proceeds from voluntary donations support concrete projects like CasAUTentica, dedicated to independent living for autistic individuals, and the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute Foundation. Over twenty associations, from Pizzaut to local Biella-based organizations, enliven the area with a spirit of community and inclusion.

Biella and Piedmont Celebrate

For the Municipality of Biella and Piedmont, Il Concertozzo 2026 represents a major cultural and tourist attraction: a grand, free, popular event supported by the Piedmont Region and the municipal administration, capable of drawing thousands of visitors to the Biella area while combining quality entertainment with a powerful message of solidarity and social inclusion.

Concertozzo — edition 2026
