Two days of music, comedy, and social commitment by Elio e le Storie Tese
Il Concertozzo is the annual event created by Elio e le Storie Tese alongside the Trio Medusa, a festival that has made the fusion of entertainment and social commitment its hallmark. Launched in 2019, Il Concertozzo is a touring event that chooses a different city each year: in 2026, it lands for the first time in Biella, the capital of the homonymous Piedmontese province, transforming the historic town squares into a massive open-air stage.
The 2026 edition takes place on Friday, June 26th, and Saturday, June 27th, spread across several symbolic locations in the city: Piazza Duomo hosts the associations, stands, and Friday talks; Palazzo Ferrero in Biella Alta welcomes the late-night jam session, while the grand musical evening on Saturday brings the city center to life with the Concertozzino and the main concert.
Friday opens in the afternoon with street food and association exhibition spaces, continues with two talks dedicated to disability, rights, and social isolation, and culminates in the evening with a classical music concert performed by the Symphonic Taxi Orchestra and a live jam session at Palazzo Ferrero. Saturday is the main event: in the afternoon, the Concertozzino showcases various musical projects, while in the evening, the main Concertozzo takes the stage with Elio e le Storie Tese and numerous musical and comedic guests.
What makes Il Concertozzo unique is its soul of solidarity. The event is the first of its kind where food and beverage management is entrusted to associations supporting physical disabilities and autism. Proceeds from voluntary donations support concrete projects like CasAUTentica, dedicated to independent living for autistic individuals, and the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute Foundation. Over twenty associations, from Pizzaut to local Biella-based organizations, enliven the area with a spirit of community and inclusion.
For the Municipality of Biella and Piedmont, Il Concertozzo 2026 represents a major cultural and tourist attraction: a grand, free, popular event supported by the Piedmont Region and the municipal administration, capable of drawing thousands of visitors to the Biella area while combining quality entertainment with a powerful message of solidarity and social inclusion.
The 2026 edition of Il Concertozzo takes place in Biella on Friday, June 26th, and Saturday, June 27th, with a program alternating music, reflection, and solidarity.
The event supports the CasAUTentica projects and the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute Foundation; voluntary donations are given to charity.
Biella is accessible by car via the A4 motorway (Carisio exit) and the A26, or by train via the Biella San Paolo station. The event venues are located in the city center and in Biella Alta (Palazzo Ferrero), which is also connected by a funicular.
Talks and the jam session are free to attend until capacity is reached. For the main concerts, tickets are available through major platforms (TicketOne, VivaTicket, Dice) and via linktr.ee/concertozzo; voluntary donations are donated to the social causes supported by the event.
We recommend arriving early for the Saturday evening events and opting for public transport or peripheral parking, given the high turnout expected in the historic center.
