About Granpablok
Climbing among the boulders of Gran Paradiso
Granpablok is the first bouldering (boulder climbing) gathering in the Gran Paradiso National Park. Founded in 2020 by the association Fuori di Blocco ASD — a group of friends united by a passion for climbing and outdoor life — it is designed as a meeting point, outside competitive logic, for all climbing enthusiasts.
A weekend of climbing and more
The Cogne event, in the province of Aosta, features two days of climbing on granite boulders in the unspoiled nature of the valley, but also street bouldering in the village, yoga sessions, a dedicated kids' area, and evening DJ sets. It's a formula that combines sport, social life, and respect for the alpine environment.
Three events in the Aosta Valley
Granpablok is held in multiple events throughout the year: in addition to the Cogne event, the gathering also takes place in Valsavarenche and, in its new urban format, in the city of Aosta. It's a way to explore the different climbing spots in the Aosta Valley and spread the culture of outdoor bouldering.
Granpablok — edition 2026
The Cogne event of Granpablok 2026 is scheduled for June 20th and 21st. Two days of bouldering on boulders in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, accompanied by side activities for everyone. The gathering continues during the year with the Valsavarenche event (July 25-26) and the urban edition in Aosta (October 3-4).
