Every spring, the Grand Prix Podistico Città di Novara transforms the small town of Terdobbiate, in the Bassa Novarese, into a meeting point for hundreds of road running enthusiasts. The stage, hosted in the heart of the town in the province of Novara, is one of the evening events of the traveling circuit that brings amateur running to various municipalities in the area, between the city of Novara and the surrounding rice-growing plains, for several weeks.

An evening race for everyone

The format follows the classic Piedmontese running event style: a race of approximately 6 kilometers starting at 8:00 PM, designed for both competitive runners and walkers who prefer a more relaxed pace. The meeting point is near the center of Terdobbiate, while the route winds through the town streets and surrounding country roads, offering the charm of running at sunset among the rice paddies of the Bassa Novarese.

Part of a traveling circuit

The Terdobbiate stage is not an isolated event, but one of the races in the Grand Prix Podistico Città di Novara, an evening circuit with multiple appointments distributed between April and the beginning of summer. The various stages visit Novara and neighboring towns, rewarding the most consistent runners at the end thanks to a general classification that sums up the results of the individual races. The event is promoted by the Deejay Running Team UISP Novara with the involvement of local running groups.
