In Noviglio, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan nestled in the South Agricultural Park, the Harvest Festival is the event of the year. With over forty years of history – reaching its 43rd edition in 2025 – it is one of the longest-running village festivals in South Milan, organized by the Pro Loco of Noviglio.
Weeks of celebration with music, taste, and tradition
The event stands out for its unusual duration: not a weekend but several weeks in September, with a calendar featuring concerts, DJ sets, dance evenings, comedy and magic shows, traditional games, tournaments, and convivial moments like the municipal risotto dinner. The common thread remains the agricultural world and the harvesting process, an ancient gesture of the Lombard countryside, accompanied by the tasting of local typical products.
An event for the entire community
Spanning Piazza XI Settembre, the Borgo Verdirolo, and hamlets like Tainate, the festival involves the entire town and attracts visitors from neighboring municipalities. Admission is free, and the program is designed to engage adults and children, balancing rural heritage with contemporary popular celebration.
