The Gorgonzola Festival is one of the most cherished gastronomic events in Cameri, a municipality in the Province of Novara, in the heart of the Piedmont plains. Organized by the Rione Cavallo in collaboration with the Pro Loco Cameri and the Latteria Sociale di Cameri, the event celebrates Gorgonzola every spring—a PDO blue-veined cheese that has its historic production area in these lands between Novara and Lombardy.

Gorgonzola, a local excellence

The festival's strength lies in the fact that its absolute protagonist, Gorgonzola, is produced locally at the Latteria Sociale di Cameri, just a few steps from the event area. Visitors can rediscover a zero-kilometer product, featured in numerous specialties: from sweet to spicy Gorgonzola, served in traditional dishes and more creative offerings. The short supply chain, from milk to cheese to the plate, is one of the values the event aims to convey.

Convivial dinners and live music

The heart of the festival is the Rione Cavallo food stand, set up in the town center. On Friday and Saturday evenings, guests dine together with evening seatings and live music, while lunch is also added on Sunday. Alongside Gorgonzola-based dishes, the menu offers meat-based alternatives and options designed for children, welcoming families and groups of friends.
