Funk-Lab: hip hop dance hits the square in Spigno Monferrato

In the heart of the upper Bormida Valley, where the Monferrato landscape gives way to the first hills of the Alta Langa, the town of Spigno Monferrato (in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont) hosts an evening entirely dedicated to dance: the Funk-Lab Dance Show. The setting is the picturesque Piazza IV Novembre, which transforms into an open-air stage for the night.

An explosion of energy across generations

The common thread of the evening is hip hop, showcased by three different groups representing various age ranges. The show highlights the freshness of the youngest dancers with Hip Hop Baby, the enthusiasm of the teens with Hip Hop Junior, and the more mature energy of the Degeneration group. It is a chance to see local dancers in action as they share months of hard work, rehearsals, and passion with the audience.

A community celebration hosted by the Pro Loco

The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Spigno Monferrato, a cornerstone of the village's social and cultural life. The evening is more than just a show: before the performances, an aperitif hosted by the Pro Loco is planned, designed to foster conviviality and welcome the public with the warmth typical of small Piedmontese towns.
