The Naturno Frühlingsfest

As the sun grows warmer, nature awakens, and flowers return to color the meadows and gardens, Naturno celebrates the arrival of spring with its Frühlingsfest, the Spring Festival. The event takes place in the town center, in the town hall square (Rathausparkplatz), attracting locals and visitors for a day filled with joy, scents, and the typical flavors of South Tyrol.

A spring market with exhibitors from near and far

The heart of the event is the spring market: numerous exhibitors and artisans present their products along the streets of the center, ranging from handcrafted creations to local specialties. Strolling among the stalls is the perfect opportunity to discover local craftsmanship and typical products from the Vinschgau Valley in a lively and relaxed atmosphere.

Folk music, dances, and tradition

The day is accompanied by live music, alternating between the notes of young students from the Lower Vinschgau music school and performances by folk groups. Among the most anticipated moments are the performances of the Schuhplattler, the traditional Tyrolean dancers, who bring the dances and costumes of the South Tyrolean tradition to the square.

For families and children

The Frühlingsfest is a celebration designed for families as well: a rich program for children offers games and activities that entertain and stimulate the creativity of the little ones, making the event suitable for all ages.

South Tyrolean gastronomy

There is no shortage of flavors: throughout the day, traditional dishes and South Tyrolean culinary specialties are offered at the food stalls, accompanied by live music. In the afternoon, there is also time for the classic coffee break with homemade cakes and pastries.

A local tradition

Organized by the Naturno Tourist Board, the Frühlingsfest is one of the events that mark the spring calendar of the municipality of Naturno, in the province of Bolzano, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Participation is free: a perfect opportunity to experience the hospitality of the Merano region and savor the beginning of the beautiful season at the foot of the sunny Vinschgau Valley.
