Flowers on Fashion is the summer event dedicated to fashion and craftsmanship that brings Piazza Vittoria, the open-air living room of Anacapri on the island of Capri, to life every June. Established in 2018 by the Ascom Anacapri association, chaired by Gelsomina Maresca, the event showcases the sartorial and artisanal art that still thrives on the island today, offering an authentic glimpse of the Capri style.

Piazza Vittoria transformed into a runway

The heart of the event is the fashion show: the scenic staircase of Piazza Vittoria becomes an open-air runway, which locals love to compare to Rome's Piazza di Spagna. Models of all ages from the island walk these steps, wearing handmade clothes, jewelry, sandals, and accessories created by local workshops. It is an evening when the square lights up with color, featuring floral arrangements and Made in Capri creations.

Boutiques and artisans in the spotlight

Flowers on Fashion involves Anacapri's commercial businesses and artisans from across the island. Each edition brings together numerous local entities — in 2026, thirteen businesses participated — presenting garments and style elements designed to reflect Mediterranean elegance. The event is organized by Ascom Anacapri in partnership with Paolo Caiazzo's Fx-treme, with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Anacapri.

Fashion, music, and entertainment

The fashion show is accompanied by live entertainment, making the evening a celebration for both residents and hotel guests. Music, cabaret, and performances alternate with runway appearances, in a program designed for a broad audience of all ages. This formula successfully combines the promotion of artisanal products with the scenic atmosphere of a historic square.

A local Capri event

With Flowers on Fashion, Anacapri celebrates its identity: that of a village that, beyond its scenic beauty, preserves artisanal expertise recognized worldwide. The event is now a highly anticipated fixture in the summer calendar of the Municipality of Anacapri, in the Province of Naples, Campania, and helps promote local workshops and the island's style during the peak tourist season.
