The Fischerfest in Lauregno

The Fischerfest, or Fishermen's Festival, is one of the most cherished events in the calendar of Lauregno/Laurein, a small mountain municipality in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, in South Tyrol. The festival takes place outdoors, transforming the village center for a day into a cheerful meeting point where fishing traditions blend with the typical conviviality of South Tyrolean alpine communities.

A village in the Deutschnonsberg

Lauregno/Laurein is one of the three German-speaking municipalities of the Upper Non Valley, an area known as Deutschnonsberg, nestled on the sunny slopes overlooking the valley. The festival is traditionally held in the spring, with a day dedicated to the village gathering. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, in the center of Lauregno/Laurein.
