Three days of high-level rollerskiing between Ziano di Fiemme and Alpe Cermis, where the Crystal Globes are awarded.
The FIS Rollerski World Cup Final represents the concluding act of the international rollerskiing circuit, the summer discipline that trains and entertains cross-country skiers from all over the world. Hosted in the municipality of Ziano di Fiemme, in Val di Fiemme (Province of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige), the event brings the planet's best athletes to the heart of the Dolomites to award the Crystal Globes, the trophies honoring the overall season winners.
The spectacle is divided into two evocative settings: the streets of Ziano di Fiemme, which transform into a city circuit suitable for fast-paced events, and the slopes of Alpe Cermis, the valley's iconic mountain, also famous for the Tour de Ski's Final Climb. This dual nature allows the public to experience both the adrenaline of the sprint and the grueling challenge of the endurance races at altitude.
Val di Fiemme is one of the world's temples of Nordic skiing: the nearby ski jumping stadium in Predazzo and the cross-country trails of Lago di Tesero have hosted World Championships and are among the venues for Olympic Nordic competitions. Summer rollerskiing extends this tradition into the warmer months, bringing national teams and champions from dozens of countries to the valley. The event is organized by the Nordic Ski Val di Fiemme committee, a well-established benchmark for major international cross-country events.
Attending the world final means seeing world-class athletes up close, for free, in an exceptional alpine setting. It is an ideal opportunity to combine sport, nature, and the typical Trentino hospitality during a late-summer weekend.
The 2026 FIS Rollerski World Cup Final takes place in Val di Fiemme from September 18 to 20, 2026, closing the international calendar after the stages in Trollhättan (Sweden) and the World Championships in Madona (Latvia). Three days will decide the season's Crystal Globe winners, with the highly anticipated presence of the circuit's top stars.
By car: Ziano di Fiemme can be reached via the A22 Brennero motorway (exit Egna-Ora, then follow the SS48 of the Dolomites towards Val di Fiemme). By train: Ora/Auer or Trento stations, with connecting Trentino Trasporti bus services to the valley.
Access to the races in the center of Ziano di Fiemme and on Alpe Cermis is generally free. It is recommended to check the official website fiemmeworldcup.com for updated schedules and logistical information.
Dress in layers for the late September mountain climate; Alpe Cermis can be reached by cable car from Cavalese.
