Fiori in Fiera

A spring Sunday in the heart of the Monferrato hills

Fiori in Fiera is the most anticipated spring event in Isola d'Asti, a town in the Province of Asti nestled in the hills of Monferrato, Piedmont. Now in its 29th edition in 2026, the festival transforms the town center for an entire Sunday in April into a large open-air market dedicated to flowers, plants, and greenery, enriched by local gastronomy, wines, and a dense calendar of cultural events and shows.

Flower nurseries and quality horticulture

The heart of the fair lies in the nursery stalls, set up from the early hours of the morning. Growers and producers offer botanical varieties, ornamental plants, seasonal flowers, gardening ideas, and quality products: an ideal opportunity for gardening enthusiasts looking to refresh their balconies, terraces, and gardens for the arrival of the warm season. Alongside the green exhibitors, there are displays of agricultural machinery and stalls from local associations.

Local gastronomy and wines

The gastronomic tradition of Monferrato takes center stage thanks to the Pro Loco of Isola d'Asti stalls, which serve local cuisine. The wine selection is completed by bottles from local wineries, including Tenuta Nerca, Torchio1953 Winery, and Cantine Vida, which perfectly express the great winemaking vocation of these UNESCO-listed hills.

Shows, culture, and major musical guests

The day is marked by numerous events for all ages: readings at the library, circus performances by the Chapitombolo Circus School, local group displays, a performance by the Isola d'Asti flag-wavers and musicians, and a live radio broadcast by Radio Vallebelbo. The afternoon concludes with music, including a performance by the Corale Santa Caterina and, in recent editions, a concert by a special guest of national fame: Iva Zanicchi in 2026 and Jerry Calà in 2025.

A free event for the whole family

Organized by the Municipality of Isola d'Asti in collaboration with local associations and businesses, Fiori in Fiera is a free-admission event designed for families, plant lovers, and visitors looking for a day outdoors surrounded by the colors, scents, and flavors of Piedmont. In case of bad weather, the event takes place indoors at the Galleria Il Gigante.
