The Fiera del Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili is the flagship event of Goito, a municipality in the province of Mantua. It celebrates Grana Padano DOP cheese produced with milk from cows fed with hay from the "prati stabili" (permanent meadows) of the Mincio Valley: meadows that have never been ploughed, cultivated without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, an expression of sustainable agriculture and a deep connection with the land.
Three days of celebration
Every year, on the third weekend of October, the streets and the exhibition area of Goito come alive for three days of celebrations. The fair hosts the consortium dairies, with their stands and tastings, as well as over ten thousand square meters of exhibition space. Numerous cultural events, educational activities dedicated to nutrition, and musical entertainment are featured.
A celebration of the territory
With over twenty thousand visitors expected at each edition, the Fiera del Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili is more than just a food festival: it is a great identity celebration that enhances Mantua's dairy excellence and tells the story of an environmentally friendly production method. Organized by the Associazione Goito Get Up, it has become a benchmark event for lovers of good food and for those who want to learn about the history of Grana Padano from the Mincio Valley.

In 2026, Goito hosts the 28th edition of the Fiera del Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili, scheduled as tradition dictates for the third weekend of October. Three days of celebrations dedicated to the DOP cheese produced with hay from the "prati stabili" of the Mincio Valley.
