Autumn Foliage at Parco Sigurtà
When summer gives way to the first chills, the Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio, in the province of Verona, dresses in the warm colours of autumn. The Festival d'Autunno celebrates foliage, the phenomenon by which the park's trees light up in a thousand shades: red, gold, ochre, and orange.
An Extraordinary Botanical Heritage
The park boasts over 500 Japanese maples, along with ginkgo biloba, ancient oaks, crape myrtles, metasequoias, and liquidambars. It is the ideal setting for nature trekking, landscape photography, gardening, and outdoor walks in the garden's 60 hectares.
Events and Initiatives
The festival accompanies the entire autumn season with dedicated events: the Autumn Artist Saturdays, reserved for painters, illustrators, and creatives who interpret the garden's beauty live, and the Autumn Children's Day, with shows and entertainment for families. The Festival d'Autunno ideally closes the season of the park, among the most awarded in Italy and Europe, in the heart of the morainic hills of the Mincio, a short walk from Lake Garda.
Festival d'Autunno — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festival d'Autunno begins on September 21 and continues until the park's seasonal closing on November 15. The star is the foliage of over 500 Japanese maples, ginkgo biloba, oaks, metasequoias, and liquidambars.
The season is enriched by the Autumn Artist Saturdays and the Autumn Children's Day, with shows and entertainment for families.
