The Fico!BeerFest - Bassa Murgia Festival is one of the most popular summer events in Marina di Ginosa, the Ionian seaside district of the town of Ginosa, in the province of Taranto, located on the far western edge of Apulia bordering Basilicata. Established in 2017, the festival combines two passions deeply felt in this region: craft beer and live music, in a festive atmosphere open to families, young people, and curious visitors alike.
Elephant Park in Contrada Pizziferro
The event takes place at Elephant Park, in Contrada Pizziferro in Marina di Ginosa: a large, multifunctional green space nestled in a pine forest, capable of hosting thousands of visitors every evening. The festival generally opens around 8:00 PM and continues late into the night, with free admission and parking and no obligation to purchase.
Music, beer, and street food
Each evening features concerts, tribute bands, and DJ sets ranging from rock to pop, new wave to Italian singer-songwriter classics, accompanied by entertainment and contests that engage the audience. Surrounding the stage is a large village with food stalls, street food, craft markets, and, of course, a rich selection of craft beers. There is also an area dedicated to children, making the festival suitable for the whole family.

Fico!BeerFest is organized by the FICO! Social Promotion Association, affiliated with ARCI, under the patronage of the City of Ginosa. The event makes accessibility, inclusivity, and environmental sustainability its hallmarks, featuring parking and entrances reserved for people with disabilities and a strong focus on waste reduction.
2026 Edition
The festival is traditionally held in August, in the heart of the Ionian summer. At the moment, the dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced by the organizers: we recommend following the official website and Fico!BeerFest social media channels to learn the calendar and program as soon as they are released.

The Fico!BeerFest - Bassa Murgia Festival is expected to return in the summer of 2026 at the Elephant Park in Marina di Ginosa (Ginosa, province of Taranto). The dates for the 2026 edition and the related program have not yet been announced at the time of publication. The proven formula is confirmed: several evenings of live music, tribute bands and DJ sets, craft beer, food stalls and street food, markets, and an area dedicated to children, with free admission and parking.

By car: from Taranto or Metaponto along the SS106 Jonica, take the Marina di Ginosa exit. By train: Ginosa station on the Taranto-Reggio Calabria line, then take a connection to the marina. Nearest airports: Bari-Palese and Brindisi.
