Natale in Colle

A month of festivities in the heart of Puglia

Natale in Colle is the Christmas program of the Municipality of Santeramo in Colle, a town in the Murgia hinterland within the Metropolitan City of Bari, in Puglia. From the first days of December until January 6th, the festival transforms the town center into a widespread stage: concerts, shows, markets, workshops for children, and traditional events take place almost every day to accompany the community throughout the holiday period.

The festival venues

The heart of the events is Piazza Garibaldi, which lights up every evening with tribute bands, DJ sets, and shows. The program also involves the historic center, the Palazzo Marchesale—home to creative workshops for children—and above all the Church of Sant'Erasmo, which hosts the most evocative sacred and classical music concerts of the festival.

Music, tradition, and community

The strength of Natale in Colle lies in its mix of different styles: from concerts by the Civic Choir and the Orchestra del Levante to tribute bands dedicated to Queen, Ligabue, Jovanotti, and Pinguini Tattici Nucleari; from the living nativity scene organized by the Santissimo Crocifisso Parish to the Santa Claus Run, and from the Mercante in Piazza to the grand raffle. There is no shortage of events dedicated to children, with Santa Claus touring the town in a carriage and on the legendary Fiat 500s of the local club.

The grand finale of Epiphany

The festival culminates on January 6th with the descent of the Magi along Via Roma and Piazza Garibaldi, the arrival of the Befana, and the Epiphany Concert in the Church of Sant'Erasmo. It is the most anticipated and heartfelt moment, closing a program designed to let the entire Santeramo community experience the magic of Christmas.

Organizers

Natale in Colle is coordinated by the Pro Loco UNPLI "G. Tritto" together with the Municipality of Santeramo in Colle, with the participation of numerous local associations and organizations. Almost all events are free to attend, designed for families, young people, and visitors from the nearby towns of the Bari Murgia.
