Dinner by the sea, music, and seafood flavors in the village of Fezzano
Fezzano, a hamlet in the municipality of Portovenere in the province of La Spezia, is a small village overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia. The Seaside Village Festival is the summer event that brings the community together on the promenade, with good food and music.
The event offers dinner by the sea every evening, with food stalls dedicated to the Gulf's products — sgabei, mussels, and oysters. After dinner, the festivities continue with music: DJ sets, themed evenings, and live concerts, including tributes to Italian singer-songwriters.
Organized by A.S.D. Borgata Marinara Fezzano and U.S.D. Fezzanese with the patronage of the Municipality of Portovenere, the festival is a moment of gathering that celebrates the village's maritime identity. It's an opportunity to discover Fezzano, authentic and tranquil, just a few kilometers from the more famous destinations in the Gulf of Poets.
For 2026, the Fezzano Seaside Village Festival is expected on a weekend in July, following tradition. The event will again offer dinner by the sea with stalls of sgabei, mussels, and oysters, and musical evenings with DJ sets and live concerts. The exact dates and detailed program will be announced by the organizing associations on eventiportovenere.com.
The 2026 program has not yet been published. The festival typically spans three days with:
By car: from La Spezia, follow SP530 towards Portovenere, then turn off for Fezzano. By boat: connections in the Gulf of La Spezia.
Free admission; food and drinks purchased at the stalls. Kitchen and stalls open from late afternoon.
