The Fettucciato MX is the motocross championship that transforms the hamlet of Accorneri di Viarigi, in the Valle area, into the beating heart of off-road motorcycling in the Asti Monferrato every year. Nestled in the hilly landscape of the Municipality of Viarigi, in the province of Asti and the heart of Piedmont, the event attracts enthusiasts, riders, and families for an entire weekend dedicated to motorsport and conviviality.

What is hybrid motocross?

The distinctive feature of the Fettucciato MX is its hybrid nature: the track combines elements of traditional motocross with the peculiarities of enduro, creating a course that is both technical and spectacular. The natural climbs, descents, and jumps of the hilly terrain test the riders' skills and provide the audience with a high level of excitement and adrenaline. It is not just a simple closed circuit, but a track designed to highlight technique and adaptability.

Categories and riders

The competition is open to a wide range of categories, from emerging young talents to the most experienced riders. The track features classes including MX1, MX2, Beginners, Over 60, and Moto E—the latter dedicated to electric motorcycles, reflecting the event's attention to new industry trends. Over one hundred riders battle it out on the track, including representatives from the MotoClub Alfieri of Asti.

Weekend program

• Saturday: Free practice and qualifying sessions in the afternoon, allowing riders to get comfortable with the track and fine-tune their bikes; in the evening, there is a DJ set and party.
• Sunday: The heart of the event with competitive races divided into the various categories.

A festival for the whole village

Beyond the sporting challenge, the Fettucciato MX is above all a moment of gathering for the Viarigi community. The refreshment areas and food and wine stands offer typical products and local dishes, showcasing regional cuisine and accompanying the public throughout the two days. The organization is curated by a group of local entities: Gli Amìs di Curnè, GiErre Factory, ZNB Team, and Motornext.it, who together make possible an event capable of uniting motorsport passion and village identity in the Asti Monferrato.
