A festival that brings Valdilana to life

FestiValdilana is the widespread summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Valdilana, in the province of Biella, in the heart of the Mosso and Sessera valleys in Piedmont. More than just a single event, it is a calendar of appointments designed to bring the territory to life and help people rediscover it: music, sports, culture, and social gatherings alternate over several weeks, involving the town's districts and associations. The organization is managed by the municipal administration together with the Pro Loco Trivero and local entities, with the stated goal of showcasing the natural beauty and the community of Valdilana.

The heart of the festival: the Ponzone Covered Market

The core of the event is the Covered Market in the Ponzone district, which transforms into the festival square for several days. This is where the most popular moments of the festival are concentrated: live music evenings, street food stalls featuring traditional dishes, soccer tournaments, entertainment, and opportunities for families and young people to gather. The atmosphere is that of a traditional Piedmontese village festival, where the pleasure of good food meets the desire to be together.

Hikes, bike rides, and nature

FestiValdilana does not only take place in the town: an important part of the program is dedicated to the outdoors, with hikes and bike rides to discover the trails of the Biella valleys, sanctuaries like the one in the Brughiera, and the views of the Oasi Zegna. There are also motorcycle rides and socially-oriented initiatives, such as awareness-raising walks. It is the festival's way of linking the celebration to the landscape and the mountains that surround Valdilana.

Evenings at Parco Reda in Valle Mosso

Among the festival's stages, the Parco Reda in Valle Mosso stands out, a green space that hosts musical events and family activities. The evenings under the stars, with tribute concerts and shows, have become one of the most beloved and well-attended events, capable of attracting a large and loyal audience every year.

Now in its several editions, FestiValdilana continues to grow with each appointment, confirming itself as one of the defining events of this corner of Piedmont. It is a manifestation built by the community for the community, but also capable of welcoming those who arrive from outside to discover the Biella valleys. Admission to the events is free, except for specific activities requiring reservations.
