The Festival of Polenta and Parpagnacco De.Co. is the feast that in Marano Vicentino, in the province of Vicenza, celebrates the prized Marano Corn, a local variety of corn grown in Alto Vicentino and known for the quality of its polenta. The event, hosted at the Parco della Solidarietà, focuses on corn culture and the rural traditions of the area.

Alongside the polenta prepared with local corn, the festival promotes the Parpagnacco, a typical dessert recognized as a De.Co. (Municipal Designation) product. The food stand offers local specialties, in a journey of taste that tells the most authentic flavors of Marano Vicentino.

Market, exhibitions, and entertainment

During the day, the Parco della Solidarietà hosts stalls and markets, the exhibition of corn cultivation equipment, and moments of entertainment, such as performances by local groups. An event designed for families, combining gastronomy, rural culture, and fun.

A young tradition

Organized by the Pro Loco of Marano Vicentino in collaboration with the Mais Marano Cooperative, the festival was born in recent years but has quickly established itself as a key spring event for those who want to discover the food and wine excellences of Alto Vicentino.
