The festival of the hamlet of Novale
The Novale Festival is one of the most cherished village festivals in the territory of Valdagno, in the province of Vicenza. It takes place in the hamlet of Novale, at the Don Bosco Oratory on Via Chiesa di Novale, and is organized by the Santa Maria di Panisacco Pastoral Unit together with the oratory community.
Gnocchi with fioretta
The specialty that identifies the festival is gnocchi with fioretta, dressed with the typical local fresh ricotta, accompanied by grilled meat from the food stand. The dish is a piece of Vicenza's gastronomic tradition that alone is worth a visit.
Music, games, and sports
Alongside the food, the festival offers a rich program spread over several days: musical evenings and dancing, baby dance and games for children, charity fishing, as well as walks and cycling events that involve the village. It is a festival designed for all ages, from Sunday lunch to evenings under the marquee.
