Thiene's Oktoberfest
Every October, Villa Fabris Park in Thiene (province of Vicenza) hosts the Oktober Tirol Fest, a festival that brings the flavours and atmospheres of Tyrol and Bavaria to the Alto Vicentino region. Under a large heated marquee, with long tables and benches, the convivial atmosphere of Alpine beer halls is recreated.
Alpine Flavours on the Table
The stars of the show are the typical Tyrolean dishes: canederli, würstel, brezel, pork knuckle, and apple strudel, accompanied by Forst beer and, in some editions, a special beer brewed specifically for the event. A delicious opportunity to discover mountain cuisine in a festive setting.
Music and Festivities
Every evening, the festival is enlivened by Bavarian music, live bands, and DJ sets, in a crescendo of toasts and merriment. Organised by Pro Loco Thiene, the Oktober Tirol Fest has established itself as one of the city's most popular autumn events, successfully combining good food, beer, and fun in a popular festive atmosphere.

For 2026, the Oktober Tirol Fest is expected, as every year, in October at Villa Fabris Park. Following on from the previous edition — held over several days in mid-October — the festival should occupy a similar autumn slot.
The formula is confirmed: heated marquee, Tyrolean specialities (canederli, würstel, brezel, pork knuckle, strudel), Forst beer, and evenings of Bavarian music with bands and DJ sets. The precise dates and the programme for the 2026 edition will be announced by Pro Loco Thiene.

Thiene is accessible by car from the A31 Valdastico motorway (Thiene exit) and by train on the Vicenza–Schio line. Villa Fabris Park is located at Via Damiano Chiesa, with parking available nearby.
