The eco-friendly festival stop in Ficulle by Maurizio Mastrini
The International Green Music Festival is one of Umbria's most original music reviews: conceived and directed by the Umbrian pianist Maurizio Mastrini, it celebrates its tenth edition in 2026. From June 1 to September 20, it offers over seventy free concerts distributed in almost all the municipalities of the GAL Trasimeno-Orvietano area. The festival has a strong environmental focus: the tenth edition is entirely powered by solar energy, in collaboration with a dedicated technological partner, to emphasize the link between music and sustainability.
Ficulle, a village in the Orvieto area in the Province of Terni, is one of the locations hosting the festival. The Ficulle stop is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026, with a concert by the Maurizio Di Fulvio Duo, who will present the enveloping atmospheres of bossa nova. As with all events in the review, admission is free, in a logic of total inclusivity aimed at enthusiasts and tourists.
Green Music intertwines its musical programming with the discovery of the villages and landscapes of Trasimeno and Orvietano. It's no coincidence that, in the months preceding the review, accommodation bookings for stays related to individual stops are already being recorded, including from abroad: a model of cultural event capable of enhancing the territory and supporting Umbria's slow tourism.
