A day of leisure, sport, and creativity in the streets of Cinzano
The Festival del Diletto arrives for the first time in Cinzano, a charming hillside village in the Province of Turin, in the heart of Piedmont. The inaugural edition is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and was conceived by the Technical Office of the Municipality of Cinzano to dedicate an entire day to "diletto"—meaning leisure, fun, and the pleasure of being together outdoors.
For the occasion, the streets and squares of the town center will be closed to traffic and turned into a large shared space, designed for families, children, and anyone looking to spend a unique Sunday filled with sport, nature, and creativity.
The heart of the event is physical activity experienced as play. Along the route, there will be dedicated areas for football, mini-basketball, mini-volleyball, and bocce, as well as a bicycle obstacle course and mountain bike and e-bike excursions in the nature surrounding the town. There will also be outdoor wellness sessions, including yoga, Pilates, group dancing, and calisthenics demonstrations.
For the little ones, there will be sports courses led by local clubs, play-movement activities, children's yoga, educational and art workshops, inflatables, and a playground area. Adults can try their hand at craft workshops focused on plaster and ceramic work, while everyone can enjoy a classic game of foosball.
The town center will also host a market with stalls featuring handicrafts, second-hand goods, and local products, accompanied by local wine tastings that highlight the winemaking tradition of the Turin hills.
Two refreshment areas will be set up in municipal venues, at the Caffè Letterario and the Sports Center, for a tasty break between activities. The event is organized by the Municipality of Cinzano and admission is free.
