FestiLAB, the festival for the youth of the Pinerolo area
FestiLAB is the flagship event of the "LAB Giovani nel Pinerolese" project, a festival that brings the city of Pinerolo, in the province of Turin, to life in the heart of Piedmont. Two completely free days designed for young people aged 15 to 34, but open to the entire public, featuring a program packed with workshops, performances, music, and opportunities for discussion.
A project built with young people
FestiLAB is not just a festival for young people, but a journey built with them. Promoted by the Municipality of Pinerolo together with 18 local municipalities, the C.I.S.S., and numerous Third Sector organizations, the project is coordinated by RBE Radio and TV and funded by the Piedmont Region as part of the "Piemonte per i Giovani" policies. The goal is to foster active citizenship, creativity, and youth engagement by gathering ideas and proposals directly from the young people of the Pinerolo area.
The festival venues
The program takes place in two recently renovated city spaces: the MORE Auditorium, on Corso Piave, the heart of evening meetings and concerts, and the Acaja Terraces, an open-air stage for workshops and daytime activities. Some events are also held at the CFIQ, Germoglio site.
What to expect
- Creative and manual workshops: photography, intuitive painting, recycling, and accessory customization with the FabLab.
- Well-being: yoga sessions and moments for listening and sharing.
- Live cooking: culinary workshops with guest chefs.
- Music: jam sessions open to local emerging musicians.
- Outreach and comedy: talk-shows with science communicators and environmental-themed stand-up comedy.
- Discussion: debates and round tables on the future of young people in the region.

FestiLAB represents a precious appointment for the Pinerolo area: a chance for the different communities of the involved municipalities to meet, an opportunity to discover renovated spaces in Pinerolo, and a concrete way to give a voice to the new generations. The fact that all activities are free makes the festival accessible to anyone who wants to participate, helping to build a vibrant and engaged network in the Piedmont region.

Friday, June 19
- 5:00 PM - CFIQ, Germoglio site: "Gyoza and Sushi Lab" culinary workshop with chef Sayaka Miyamoto (max 16 spots, mandatory booking).
- 9:00 PM - MORE Auditorium: "Good news from the end of the world", a talk-show with science communicator Adrian Fartade on climate challenges.
Saturday, June 20
- From 10:00 AM - Acaja Terraces: yoga sessions, photography and intuitive painting workshops, Swap Party (clothing exchange), "Hack Your Bag" recycling workshop by FabLab, and role-playing games.
- 4:00 PM: "TerriTalk" debate on the future of young people in the region.
- 6:00 PM - MORE Auditorium: "Call Your Music", jam session for emerging musicians.
- 9:30 PM: Fill Pill stand-up comedy show, "Divulgazione Coatta Ambientale".

How to get there
By train: Pinerolo station is connected to Turin Lingotto via the metropolitan railway service. From the station, the MORE Auditorium and the Acaja Terraces can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
By car: from Turin, take the SP23 (approx. 40 km, 45 minutes). Parking is available in the city near the center.
Admission and bookings
All activities are completely free. Some workshops with limited capacity (such as the culinary workshop) and evening events at the MORE Auditorium require mandatory booking.
