The first toast of the Corinaldo summer

When Corinaldo, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy perched on the hills of the Province of Ancona, turns on the lights of the summer season, it does so with a toast. The Festa della Birra is indeed the event that inaugurates the summer calendar of the Marche village: two days of celebration in Piazza Risorgimento, in the heart of the historic centre surrounded by the famous 15th-century walls, where beer becomes an excuse to get together, chat and discover the flavours of the region.

Beer, food and conviviality

The idea behind the event is simple and successful: combine the passion for beer with good food and togetherness. The square hosts stalls for beer tapping, accompanied by gastronomic offerings ranging from street food to Marche specialities, perfect for an informal outdoor evening under the June sky. It's the kind of event that, rather than a big music festival, tells the story of Corinaldo's village soul and conviviality: a community celebration, where the square becomes the village's living room again.

Opening the summer season

It is no coincidence that the Festa della Birra is held in mid-June: it is the first stop on a very busy summer. From here on, the Corinaldo calendar — brought together under the 'Estate d'Incanto' banner — unfolds between the Romantic Night of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, historical reenactments, the Corinaldo Jazz Festival, the International Organ Festival and religious festivals, up to the late summer events. Beer, in short, marks the moment when the town gets moving again and opens its doors to visitors.

A village to experience beyond the festival

Attending the Festa della Birra is also an opportunity to discover Corinaldo: the scenic Piaggia (the famous staircase of the Pozzo della Polenta), the intact walls, the alleys of the centre and the timeless atmosphere that has made this village in the Marche Region one of the most beloved destinations in the Ancona hinterland. The event, with free admission, is organised by the Pro Loco of Corinaldo with the support of the Municipality.
