The Feast of the Eel, combined with the Saint Michael's Fair, is the traditional festival that enlivens Valproto every September, a hamlet in Quinto Vicentino in the province of Vicenza. The name pays homage to the 'bisata', the eel in the Veneto dialect, a symbolic dish of the plain's cuisine and the absolute star of the food stands.
