The Roman singer-songwriter in a free concert at Piazza Concordia, in the heart of the Table Grape Festival
On the evening of September 13, 2026, Piazza Concordia, in the center of Mazzarrone (Metropolitan City of Catania, Sicily), will host one of the most anticipated events of the Sicilian musical summer: a concert by Fabrizio Moro. The event is free of charge and is promoted by the Municipality of Mazzarrone in collaboration with the local Pro Loco, with production managed by Puntoeacapo Srl.
The Roman singer-songwriter brings his new tour to Sicily, supporting his tenth studio album, "Non ho paura di niente" (BMG). On the Mazzarrone stage, Moro will revisit the songs that have defined his career, from his early days to his most recent successes, while performing tracks from his latest record live. He will be accompanied by a tight-knit band: Danilo Molinari and Roberto "Red" Maccaroni on guitars, Luca Amendola on bass, Alessandro Inolti on drums, and Maestro Claudio Junior Bielli on piano.
The concert takes place during the International Table Grape PGI Festival, the historic event that celebrates the territory's signature product: the Mazzarrone Table Grape PGI. For a few days, the village comes alive with stalls featuring local products and crafts, tastings, conferences, and shows, with Piazza Concordia serving as the natural stage for major evening concerts. The evening with Fabrizio Moro represents one of the highlights of this festival, which weaves together popular music, agriculture, and the identity of the Calatino area.
Nestled between the provinces of Catania, Ragusa, and Caltanissetta, Mazzarrone is famous throughout Italy for its table grape cultivation, recognized with the PGI mark. The end of summer, the harvest season, is when the village experiences its most intense period, and the musical event becomes an opportunity to attract visitors from all over Eastern Sicily in a spirit of popular celebration and hospitality.
The 2026 edition of Mazzarrone's musical event brings Fabrizio Moro to Piazza Concordia on Saturday, September 13, with his "Non ho paura di niente Live 2026" tour, linked to his new album. The setlist will feature the greatest hits of the Roman singer-songwriter's career and, for the first time live, tracks from his latest record. He will be joined on stage by Danilo Molinari and Roberto "Red" Maccaroni on guitars, Luca Amendola on bass, Alessandro Inolti on drums, and Maestro Claudio Junior Bielli on piano. The concert, with free admission, is one of the highlights of the Table Grape Festival.
Mazzarrone can be reached by car via the SS514 Catania-Ragusa road, taking the exit towards the Calatino area. The nearest airports are Catania-Fontanarossa and Comiso. The reference train station is Caltagirone, from which you can continue by bus or car.
Admission to the concert is free. The start time for the show will be announced by the organizers closer to the event; arriving early is recommended to secure a spot in Piazza Concordia.
During the Table Grape Festival, the town can get crowded: it is advisable to park in areas outside the center and walk to the square. Don't miss the tasting stalls for the Table Grape PGI and local specialties.
