Three days of flavors and crafts from all over Europe in the historic center of Cervia
The European Flavors Market is one of the most anticipated events of the late summer calendar in Cervia, in the Province of Ravenna, in the heart of the Romagna Riviera. Every year, in September, the town's historic center, and particularly Piazza Andrea Costa, comes alive with over a hundred street vendors from all over Europe and various Italian regions, transforming the streets into a large open-air culinary itinerary.
The strength of this market lies in its variety: strolling among the stalls, you'll find specialties from many countries, including France, Germany, Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Ireland, and Great Britain, alongside offerings from further afield such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, and Senegal. Typical Italian products are also present, from Sicilian excellence to Tuscan, Umbrian, Piedmontese, and Apulian specialties.
The European Market is not just an opportunity for tasting and shopping: throughout the weekend, the center of Cervia hosts side events designed to enrich your visit, such as art exhibitions, painting, ceramics, and photography displays by Romagna artists, and open-air performances. It's a perfect chance to also discover the salt town, the evocative Magazzini del Sale (Salt Warehouses), and the seafront, during one of the most pleasant times of the year on the Adriatic coast.
Organized by FIVA Confcommercio Ascom Cervia in collaboration with the national network of European Markets, the event has grown edition after edition to become a late-summer classic in Emilia-Romagna. Admission is completely free, and the extended opening hours, from morning until midnight, make it ideal for both daytime visits and evening strolls among lights, aromas, and music.
The 23rd edition of the European Flavors Market takes place in Cervia from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13, 2026, based in Piazza Andrea Costa and the streets of the historic center. This year's successful formula is confirmed: over a hundred stalls from street vendors across Europe and many Italian regions, open from 10:00 AM to midnight, with free admission.
Visitors can find gastronomic and artisan specialties from dozens of countries, including France, Germany, Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Ireland, and Great Britain, as well as offerings from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, and Senegal, and typical products from Italian regions.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition, including side events, is under update and will be announced by the organizers in the weeks preceding the event.
Over 100 stalls from all over Europe, extended evening opening until midnight, and free entry in the heart of Cervia's historic center, just steps from the sea.
