Three days of street food, music, and fun in Sinalunga
The Europe Festival is an early May event held in Sinalunga, a town in the province of Siena nestled in the rolling hills of the Sienese Valdichiana, in Tuscany. For three days, the town center fills with flavors, sounds, and colors, celebrating the European spirit through the universal language of food, music, and conviviality.
The beating heart of the festival is the gastronomic area, featuring the best Italian and European specialties. From traditional regional dishes to international offerings, street food accompanies visitors throughout the event, creating a culinary journey that invites you to discover the flavors of the continent while strolling between the stalls.
The evenings are dedicated to live music and entertainment. The program includes the Euro Night DJ Set on the opening night and a tribute to Eros Ramazzotti, honoring one of the most beloved Italian artists across Europe. The square transforms into an open-air stage, perfect for dancing and singing under the Tuscan spring stars.
Alongside the food and music, the festival features an artisan market with crafts, gifts, and curiosities, ideal for a stroll in search of original products. For families, there is a kids area with European-themed creative workshops (making passports, magnets, and bookmarks), quiz games, inflatables, and wooden toys, designed to help children experience Europe in a playful and engaging way.
Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Sinalunga, the Europe Festival is a gathering that attracts residents and visitors from neighboring towns in the Valdichiana. The event is part of the calendar of initiatives linked to Europe Day, which celebrates the values of unity, peace, and cooperation among the continent's peoples every May 9th, expressed here in a festive and popular way.
The 2026 Europe Festival brought Sinalunga to life from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th. The street food area, featuring Italian and European specialties, opened on Friday from 5:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM. The artisan and curiosities market was active from Friday afternoon. The kids area offered creative workshops, quiz games, inflatables, and wooden toys.
