The Esposizione Internazionale Felina MEC — Mitteleuropean Cat Show — is the new major event in Friuli dedicated to the world of pedigree cats. Hosted at Campus Friuli, Udine's exhibition centre, it brings together breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts from all over Europe, particularly from the Central European area that gives the event its name, for an entire weekend.
An international-level exhibition
The event is organized by ANFI (Associazione Nazionale Felina Italiana - Italian National Feline Association), a founding member of FIFe (Fédération Internationale Féline), the most important feline organization worldwide. International judges evaluate the cats according to FIFe breed standards, awarding titles and recognitions in an atmosphere of passion and competition.
For enthusiasts and families
Persians, Maine Coons, British Shorthairs, Siberians, Birman cats, and dozens of other breeds parade in their cages and on the judging tables, while the public can admire extraordinary specimens up close, meet breeders, and discover the feline world. An event suitable for families, the curious, and cat lovers, which enriches the already packed exhibition calendar of Udine's Campus Friuli.

The first edition
On September 19 and 20, 2026, Udine's Campus Friuli hosts the 1st edition of the MEC International Cat Show (Mitteleuropean Cat Show). The event, organized by ANFI under the aegis of FIFe, brings to Udine the most beautiful pedigree cats in Europe, with international judges, awards, and a strong presence of breeders and exhibitors.
