Edition 2025 — MEC – Mitteleuropean Cat Show
Towards the first edition
The MEC International Cat Show was established in 2026 as a new event at Udine's Campus Friuli. In 2025, Friuli-Venezia Giulia did not yet have a major international feline exhibition: breeders and enthusiasts from the region participated in the circuit of ANFI/FIFe cat shows organized in other Italian cities and in the Central European area.
The growing passion for pedigree cats and the success of the Campus Friuli exhibition calendar led to the creation of this new event, which fills a gap in the regional offerings starting from the inaugural edition in September 2026.
