Three days dedicated to the world of education at Villa Ghirlanda
Edufest is one of the most significant cultural events in northern Milan: for three days, Villa Ghirlanda Silva and its park in Cinisello Balsamo (Metropolitan City of Milan) become the heart of a major festival dedicated to education. Conceived and organized by Progetto A and Orsa, curated by Roberto Prencipe and Alessandro Quattrino, it brings together psychologists, pedagogists, writers, teachers, and communicators to discuss growth, school, and relationships.
The 2026 edition chooses the word 'Borders' as its guiding theme: the festival explores how the limits of education are shifting, between rule and freedom, between norm and divergence. One morning is entirely dedicated to the 'Borders of School', designed for teachers, with an event accredited on the SOFIA platform for MIM training hours recognition.
Some of the most well-known names in Italian educational communication will take the main stage: announced guests include Alessandro D'Avenia, Stefania Andreoli, Alberto Pellai, Luca Mazzucchelli, Vincenzo Schettini, Matteo Lancini, Tonino Cantelmi, and Stefano Rossi, along with numerous other prominent figures. They are joined by shows and evening entertainment.
Villa Ghirlanda transforms into a large, widespread laboratory with over a hundred activities and shows offered by about seventy local partners: robotics, theater, photography, educational escape rooms, sensory workshops, sports, and cooperative games. Admission is free, with limited seating for the main stage events. It is an event that combines reflection and play, designed for adults, children, and families alike.
