BiM's Summer in Bicocca
BiM Summer Season is the summer program of BiM - Bicocca incontra Milano, the urban hub located on viale Piero e Alberto Pirelli, in the Bicocca district (Municipality 9) of Milan, Lombardy. Throughout the warm season, the BiM Garden becomes an open space for culture, music, and social interaction.
A Rich and Free Calendar
The programming, free of charge and under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, blends various forms of expression: concerts, DJ sets, open-air cinema, art exhibitions, creative workshops for adults and families, fitness sessions, and activities for children. Each event is designed to be freely accessible, from afternoon until evening.
Prestigious Partners
BiM's summer features significant collaborations with key players in Milan's cultural scene: Blue Note Milan for music, LaFil for orchestral performances, Cinemino for cinema, as well as the independent market Flug Market. This network ensures quality and variety in the offerings.
Bicocca as a Meeting Point
Amidst the skyscrapers and green spaces of the district, BiM Summer Season helps make Bicocca a vibrant place even during the summer months, offering residents and visitors an accessible and high-quality option for Milanese evenings.
BiM Summer — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of BiM Summer Season enlivens the BiM Garden in Bicocca from June 4 to September 1. The summer program, free and under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, features concerts, DJ sets, open-air cinema, exhibitions, workshops, and the Flug Market (every Thursday).
The opening is on Thursday, June 4, with a program including a market, outdoor fitness, creative workshops, family activities, an art exhibition, and live music, thanks to partners Blue Note Milan, LaFil, and Cinemino.

Thursday, June 4, 2026 — Opening (BiM Garden, 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
- 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM — Flug Market with independent designers and artists (clothing, accessories, vinyl, illustrations)
- 12:30 PM - 1:20 PM — Outdoor functional fitness training with BiM Gym
- 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM — Creative workshops for adults and families by I Distratti
- 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM — Kamishibai show for children (Mirabilia Project)
- 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM — Finissage of the exhibition "Paper / Northern Lights" by Gianni Pettena
- 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM — DJ set by ESA (Blue Note Milan) and live performance by Malasartoria Milan feat. Tormento
