The Schlanders Village Festival

The Dorffest Schlanders, or Schlanders Village Festival, is one of the most anticipated summer events in the Vinschgau Valley, in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of South Tyrol. Organized by the numerous associations of the Municipality of Schlanders with the coordination of Marketing Schlanders, the event transforms the pedestrian zone of Via Principale for two days into a large festive space, where music, gastronomy, and conviviality merge in an authentically South Tyrolean atmosphere.

Live music on two stages

The beating heart of the festival is music. Along the village's main street, two stages are set up—one in the central square and one in the Damml area—hosting live bands and groups with repertoires ranging from rock to pop, alongside DJ sets that keep the party going until late at night. A program designed to get audiences of all ages dancing and having fun.

Gastronomy and local associations

A central role is played by the local associations, which manage the food stalls offering typical South Tyrolean specialties, homemade dishes, desserts, and local drinks. It is precisely thanks to the voluntary commitment of these groups that the Dorffest maintains its genuine character as a community festival, capable of involving the entire social fabric of Schlanders.

Fun for children and families

The Dorffest is a family-friendly festival. Alongside music and gastronomy, there is a rich entertainment program for children, with water slides, laser tag, stilts, and playful activities, as well as an art exhibition that enriches the event's cultural offering.

A sustainable event

The event is recognized as a Green Event: the organizers pay special attention to environmental sustainability, from waste management to the use of reusable tableware, in line with the Vinschgau Valley and South Tyrol's commitment to protecting the territory.

Schlanders and the Vinschgau Valley

Located along the Adige River in the western part of South Tyrol, the Municipality of Schlanders is the main hub of the Vinschgau Valley. Its wide pedestrian area, framed by the mountains and apple orchards of the valley, offers the ideal setting for a village festival that, edition after edition, attracts residents and visitors from across the entire valley.
