Donnalucata Fest is a widespread popular event held every April 25th in the charming seaside village of Donnalucata, a district of the municipality of Scicli, in the heart of the Ragusa province, Sicily. Born from the initiative of a group of local merchants with the patronage of the municipal administration, the festival enlivens the streets of the historic center, the seafront, and the squares overlooking the sea for an entire day, turning Donnalucata into a large open-air stage.

A widespread festival from morning to night

The Donnalucata Fest format is that of a widespread festival: the program unfolds along the village streets, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 AM. Rather than a single stage, there are dozens of locations that come alive simultaneously, allowing the public to stroll through music, flavors, and shows while discovering different corners of the seaside town. It is an event designed for the whole family, combining the desire to be outdoors with the promotion of one of the most beloved locations on the Iblean coast.

Music, DJ sets, and live performances

The musical program is the heart of the day: DJ sets follow one another in various locations, alongside concerts and live music with bands ranging across different genres, from rock to pop and electronic music. Alongside the music, there is space for street performers, shows, and traditional sung lunches, in a festive atmosphere that accompanies visitors from the morning until the sunset over the sea and beyond.

Street food and local flavors

Gastronomy is also a major protagonist: along the route, you will find street food stalls and food trucks, tastings, and markets, featuring the food and wine excellence of the Iblean territory offered by local businesses and operators of the village. It is an opportunity to taste the flavors of Sicilian cuisine while strolling with a view of the Mediterranean.
