The Dolomitica Brenta Bike is one of the most anticipated mountain bike races on the Trentino calendar. Held in Pinzolo, in Val Rendena, province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), it draws hundreds of enthusiasts every year to ride the trails at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Organized by Dolomitica Sport Trentino in collaboration with the Madonna di Campiglio Tourist Board and Trentino Marketing, the event serves as the second stage of the Trentino MTB circuit.
The two routes
The race offers two tracks suitable for different levels of preparation:
- Marathon: 72 km with 2,700 meters of elevation gain, the most challenging route reserved for well-trained athletes;
- Race Classic: 45 km with 1,600 meters of elevation gain, a technical yet accessible track that crosses the most scenic spots of Val Rendena and Madonna di Campiglio.
Both routes wind through dirt roads, technical sections, and thrilling descents within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, set in one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in the Alps.
Start and finish in the center of Pinzolo
The event headquarters is Parco Ciclamino, in the heart of Pinzolo, which hosts the Dolomitica Village and the Expo area, as well as the start and finish zones. The race is the centerpiece of an entire weekend dedicated to cycling, featuring the Randonnée E-Dolomitica for e-bike enthusiasts.
An event growing year after year
Dolomitica Brenta Bike has seen its numbers grow steadily, nearing a thousand participants. The race has become a benchmark for the mountain bike movement in Trentino and an opportunity to explore the Val Rendena territory on two wheels. For spectators and fans, it is also a showcase for the Brenta Dolomites and the Madonna di Campiglio resort area.

Dolomitica Brenta Bike 2026 — 12th Edition
The 2026 edition, the twelfth of the event, took place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Pinzolo. The major highlight was the new start and finish location, moved to Parco Ciclamino in the heart of the village, which hosted the Dolomitica Village and the Expo area.
Bikers chose between the Marathon (72 km and 2,700 m elevation gain) and the Race Classic (45 km and 1,600 m elevation gain) on renewed, more engaging courses, balancing dirt tracks, technical sections, and descents. The 28th Italian MTB Championship for Firefighters was held on the Race track, organized with the Federation of Volunteer Firefighter Corps of the Province of Trento. The weekend also included the Randonnée E-Dolomitica dedicated to e-bikes on Sunday, June 28.

2026 Program
- Friday, June 26 — 10:00 AM: Opening of Dolomitica Village and Expo area; Race Office open from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for registration verification and race pack collection.
- Saturday, June 27 — Race Office from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM; starting grid opens at 8:00 AM; Marathon start at 8:30 AM; Race Classic start at 8:45 AM; followed by the flower ceremony and pasta party.
- Sunday, June 28 — Meeting at 8:30 AM at the Pinzolo cable car parking lot, start of the Randonnée E-Dolomitica (e-bike) at 9:00 AM.

How to get there
Pinzolo can be reached via the A22 Brenner motorway (exit at Trento Centro or San Michele all'Adige), continuing towards Val Rendena. The start and finish are located at Parco Ciclamino, in the town center.
Registration
Registration is done online via the official event website. Race bibs and race packs can be collected at the Race Office in the Expo area in the days leading up to the race.
