Three evenings of debates and music at Corte di Giarola
In the summer of 2026, Corrispondenze is born in Collecchio, in the Province of Parma, the first festival conceived and promoted by CGIL Parma. The event takes place from July 2 to 4 in the evocative Corte di Giarola, an ancient rural complex of medieval origin nestled in the Taro Regional River Park, between the waterway and the hills of Emilia-Romagna.
The stated goal is to offer meetings, exchanges, reflections, and entertainment capable of providing insights into the present: work, society, and the relationships between us and the world around us. The title evokes the idea of slowing down and seeking the many subtle and formative "correspondences" between themes, facts, stories, and people that the frenzy of daily life often prevents us from grasping and appreciating.
Corte di Giarola, in the Municipality of Collecchio, is now home to the Ducato Parks and houses a visitor center, an auditorium, the Museum of Tomato and Pasta, and event spaces. The medieval setting, just a few kilometers from Parma, serves as the backdrop for the three evenings of the festival, which begin each day at 8:00 PM.
Each evening alternates debates, talks, and book presentations with live concerts, featuring guests from the union, academic, and journalistic worlds. The closing evening on July 4th intertwines with the Parma Festival della Parola (Festival of the Word), confirming the cultural and participatory vocation of this first edition.
The first edition of Corrispondenze inaugurates the CGIL Parma festival with three evenings at Corte di Giarola, in the Municipality of Collecchio. The opening, on Thursday, July 2, is entrusted to the greeting of Lisa Gattini, general secretary of CGIL Parma, and the welcome of Maristella Galli, mayor of Collecchio. Subsequent evenings alternate talks on work, city, and society with live concerts, culminating in the closing on July 4 in collaboration with the Festival della Parola.
From July 2 to 4, 2026, every evening starting from 8:00 PM.
