The Municipality of Brusson, in Val d'Ayas (province of Aosta), is one of the Italian capitals of biathlon, the winter discipline that combines cross-country skiing with rifle shooting. Its Biathlon Centre, located on the Vollon plateau, has slopes also approved for the World Cup and regularly hosts national and international competitions.

Coppa Italia Biathlon Brusson — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Brusson stage is scheduled for February 28 and March 1 and constitutes the sixth stage of the Italian Biathlon Cup. The races take place on the Vollon plateau, on the slopes of the Brusson Biathlon Centre, approved for the World Cup.
The program includes a mass start on Saturday, February 28, and an 8-shot sprint on Sunday, March 1, with the participation of regional teams and the best Italian athletes in the discipline.

By car: A5 motorway, Verrès exit, then SR45 state road of Val d'Ayas to Brusson. The Biathlon Centre is located on the Vollon plateau.
