The festival of yellow risotto and Brianza dishes in Villa Zoja park
The Festa del Büss is one of the most popular gastronomic events of the Concorezzo summer, in the Province of Monza and Brianza. For three days, the festival area of Villa Zoja Park transforms into a large open-air kitchen, with a bar always open and the food stand active for lunch and dinner.
The signature dish of the festival is yellow risotto with ossobuco (also served without), one of the cornerstones of Lombard cuisine. Alongside it, a generous menu that tells the story of Brianza tradition and beyond: lasagne, penne with tomato or arrabbiata sauce, spaghetti allo scoglio, arrosticini, mixed fried food, polenta with zola cheese or ossobuco, and mixed grill. A selection that pleases everyone and makes the Festa del Büss a benchmark for lovers of good food.
The festival is organized by ASD Pallavolo Concorezzo: as often happens in Brianza towns, sports associations are the ones who keep the community spirit alive. The festival is also a way to support the volleyball club's activities, in an intertwining of sport, volunteering, and conviviality that is the hallmark of Concorezzo festivals.
The Festa del Büss is part of the Concorezzo d'Estate program, the extensive series of events that enlivens Villa Zoja park from May to September with festivals, concerts, and shows, making Concorezzo's green spaces the stage for the summer season.
For the 2026 edition, the Festa del Büss confirms the formula that made it popular: three days of festival in the Villa Zoja Park festival area, from September 11 to 13, with the bar always open and the food stand available for lunch and dinner. The star is the yellow risotto with ossobuco, along with lasagne, mixed fried food, polenta, and mixed grill.
