Concerti a Corte: music under the stars in Mezzolombardo
Every summer, the courtyard of the "La Corte" Cultural Center in Mezzolombardo, located in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana in the province of Trento, transforms into an open-air stage. Concerti a Corte is the music festival that the Scuola Musicale Guido Gallo dedicates to the community: a series of free-admission evenings held between June and July, offering the public a diverse range of genres, from choral singing and brass bands to songwriter tributes and jazz.
A program for every taste
The festival's strength lies in its variety: the lineup ranges from local choral ensembles to the Mezzolombardo Town Band, followed by tributes to great names in Italian music and jazz fusion. It is a program designed to bring together students and teachers from the Scuola Musicale Guido Gallo with the musical talents of the Trentino-Alto Adige region, creating a festive atmosphere that engages the whole family.
The heart of the town
All events take place at 9:00 PM in the inner courtyard of the "La Corte" Cultural Center, an intimate space with excellent acoustics in the historic center of Mezzolombardo. In case of bad weather, the concerts are moved to the Municipal Library's multi-purpose hall, ensuring no evening is missed. Admission is always free: simply arrive and find a seat.
A staple of the Rotaliana summer
Having become a pleasant tradition over the years for the residents of Mezzolombardo and neighboring towns, the festival is a precious element of the cultural life of the Autonomous Province of Trento. Here, music leaves the classroom and reaches the public, showcasing local talent and offering visitors another reason to discover the Piana Rotaliana in summer.
Concerti a Corte — edition 2026
The 2026 season of Concerti a Corte consists of six events between June and July, all starting at 9:00 PM with free admission, in the courtyard of the "La Corte" Cultural Center in Mezzolombardo. The program alternates between choral singing, the town's band tradition, tributes to great names in Italian music, and a jazz night as part of the TrentinoInJazz circuit. In case of bad weather, concerts will move to the Municipal Library's multi-purpose hall (with the exception of the June 26th performance).
