About Collaterale Festival

Collaterale Festival is Ostuni's vibrant summer event in the heart of Puglia, blending electronic and indie music, contemporary art, eco-friendly installations, and local craftsmanship. Launched in 2025, the festival transforms the most iconic spots of the 'White City'—from the Chiostro di San Francesco and the Arena Bianca at the Foro Boario to the beaches of Torre Canne—into a sprawling cultural laboratory featuring DJ sets, live concerts, and forward-thinking visions, with a strong focus on sustainability and community engagement.

A cultural laboratory in the White City

Collaterale Festival is the fresh summer event that debuted in July 2025 in Ostuni, the famous 'White City' in the Province of Brindisi, Puglia. More than just a concert series, the festival acts as an open-air cultural laboratory where indie and electronic music intertwine with art, nature, and shared reflections on the future of our territories.

A widespread format between the historic center and the sea

Collaterale follows a 'widespread festival' model: three days, three distinct locations across Ostuni and its coastline, each with its own unique atmosphere. It kicks off in the intimate Chiostro di San Francesco in the heart of the old town, continues at the spacious Arena Bianca del Foro Boario—transformed into a true cultural village—and concludes on the coast at the Santos Beach Club in Torre Canne, with the sea serving as a natural backdrop.

Music, art, and sustainability

The project focuses on the intersection of genres and languages: DJ sets and contemporary club culture, live concerts by Italian artists, international electronic incursions, and more intimate moments, such as piano concerts at sunset by the sea. Surrounding the music are eco-friendly art installations, vintage markets, local crafts, food stalls, and workshops dedicated to urban culture and the environment.

  • Three locations spanning the historic center, urban arena, and beach
  • Electronic, indie music, and club culture
  • Installations crafted from biodegradable materials
  • Markets, local crafts, and food stalls
  • Values of inclusivity, sustainability, and active participation

Ostuni and its summer

With Collaterale Festival, the Municipality of Ostuni enriches its summer calendar, combining the city's tourism appeal with a contemporary cultural offering aimed primarily at a young audience. The setting is the unmistakable landscape of Puglia: whitewashed alleys, ancient olive trees, and the Adriatic Sea just a few kilometers away, providing the perfect backdrop for an event designed to experience the Salento summer in a whole new way.

Collaterale Festival — edition 2026

Following its 2025 debut, Collaterale Festival is expected to return to Ostuni in the summer of 2026. At the moment, the dates and program for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced by the organizers; information will be updated as soon as it is released on the festival's official channels.
