In San Giorio, screenings take place at the Salone Polivalente Comunale at Via Carlo Carli 148, in the heart of the village, often in collaboration with local CAI (Italian Alpine Club) sections. 2026 Edition in San Giorio di Susa
Cinema in Verticale 2026 offered nine free evenings, always at 8:45 PM, from February 6 to March 26, in six municipalities: Almese, Caprie, Condove, Giaveno, Rivoli, and San Giorio di Susa, in the Province of Turin. The festival, now in its 30th edition and organized by the Valsusa Filmfest in collaboration with the Gruppo 33 association of Condove, CAI sections, and local authorities, confirmed its vocation as a preview dedicated to mountain culture and achievements.
The closing night of the edition was held in San Giorio di Susa on Thursday, March 26, at the Salone Polivalente Comunale on Via Carlo Carli, in collaboration with the CAI UGET section of Bussoleno: an event dedicated to the traditions and future of highland communities.

Thursday, March 26 — San Giorio di Susa Stop (Salone Polivalente Comunale)
- 8:45 PM — "Se Chanta – Nino e la Val Maira di ieri, oggi e domani", a documentary presented by Davide Demichelis. Starting from the portrait of Nino, a symbolic figure of the Cuneo mountains, the film recounts the tradition and future of highland communities. Evening organized in collaboration with the CAI UGET section of Bussoleno.
The San Giorio evening concluded the nine screenings of the 2026 edition of Cinema in Verticale, distributed across Almese, Caprie, Condove, Giaveno, Rivoli, and San Giorio di Susa.
