In Condove, screenings take place at the Cinema Comunale in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, in the heart of the town. Here, the audience doesn't just watch films and documentaries; they meet distinguished guests in person, including mountaineers, mountain guides, explorers, photographers, directors, journalists, mountaineering historians, and experts who share insights into mountain-related themes. The evenings in Condove are organized by the Valsusa Filmfest in collaboration with the local Gruppo 33 association and the Italian Alpine Club (CAI).

Edizione 2026 a Condove
Cinema in Verticale 2026 ha proposto nove serate gratuite, sempre alle ore 20:45, dal 6 febbraio al 26 marzo, in sei Comuni: Almese, Caprie, Condove, Giaveno, Rivoli e San Giorio di Susa, in Provincia di Torino. La rassegna, organizzata dal Valsusa Filmfest in collaborazione con l'associazione Gruppo 33 di Condove, il CAI e gli enti locali, ha confermato la sua vocazione di anteprima dedicata alla cultura e alle imprese di montagna.
A Condove si sono tenute quattro delle nove serate dell'edizione, tutte al Cinema Comunale: l'inaugurazione del 6 febbraio, l'omaggio a Walter Bonatti del 19 febbraio, la serata storica sul Gran Sasso del 5 marzo e l'incontro sull'alpinismo contemporaneo del 19 marzo.

Venerdì 6 febbraio — Inaugurazione (Cinema Comunale, Condove)
- 20:45 — "Il vallone delle Cime Bianche", serata inaugurale dedicata alla tutela del Vallone delle Cime Bianche, area incontaminata dell'alta Val d'Ayas. Con il Comitato Insieme per Cime Bianche (Annamaria Gremmo, Francesco Sisti, Marco Soggetto) e il dialogo condotto da Gigi Giuliano, attorno al progetto fotografico "L'Ultimo Vallone Selvaggio".
Giovedì 19 febbraio — Omaggio a Walter Bonatti (Cinema Comunale, Condove)
- 20:45 — "Walter Bonatti a Bardonecchia", documentario di Riccardo Topazio sul periodo trascorso da Bonatti a Bardonecchia tra il 1955 e il 1957, come guida alpina e maestro di sci, tra materiali storici, testimonianze e filmati d'epoca, con le musiche originali di Franco Bella.
Giovedì 5 marzo — Storia dell'alpinismo (Cinema Comunale, Condove)
- 20:45 — "Monte Corno. Pareva che io fussi in aria", con lo storico dell'alpinismo Roberto Mantovani, dedicato alla prima ascensione del Gran Sasso del 1573.
Giovedì 19 marzo — Alpinismo contemporaneo (Cinema Comunale, Condove)
- 20:45 — "Eternal Solo", con l'alpinista Stefano Ragazzo e la giornalista Linda Cottino, sulla sua impresa in solitaria nel Karakorum.

A Condove i momenti più attesi sono stati l'omaggio a Walter Bonatti con il documentario di Riccardo Topazio (19 febbraio) e la serata con Stefano Ragazzo e "Eternal Solo" sull'alpinismo in solitaria nel Karakorum (19 marzo).
