A festival of art at the castle

In Cigognola, in the province of Pavia, Cigognola Castle overlooks the vineyards of Oltrepò Pavese. For one evening, this historic residence opens its doors to the public with Cigognola Live Performance, a festival that creates a dialogue between different artistic languages — contemporary art, dance, and baroque music — transforming the castle into a meeting place between creation and landscape.

Major international names

The event brings internationally renowned artists to Cigognola: visual artist Petrit Halilaj with the installation "Two and a Half Hearts", choreographer and acrobat Yoann Bourgeois with his company, and the baroque ensemble Capriccio Armonico with a repertoire spanning Vivaldi and Bach. A program that alternates installations, concerts, and performances, designed to offer the public a rich and layered experience.

Culture and territory

The project is conceived by Gabriele Moratti, owner of the estate, with the artistic direction of Émilie Fouilloux, former dancer at the Opéra de Paris and Teatro alla Scala. The stated goal is to create "a dialogue between different artistic languages and the territory", making the castle a hub for contemporary art in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese. Admission is free, with mandatory reservation.
